Why Graševina?
Graševina is our most common variety, but its market potential, both in Croatia and abroad, has been inadequately exploited. Every fourth liter of wine on our market is made of Graševina, and Jancis Robinson, the world's leading wine authority, has chosen to use the name "Graševina" as the official name of this variety in her book Wine Grapes, because it gives the best results in Croatia and most likely comes from this area. Apart from not having a good market position, Graševina has a bad image, both in Croatia and internationally, and we can change that only by educating wine experts and public about Graševina potential.
